Dog Pick-up and Collection
Springfield Dog Centre has its own Bark and Ride taxi pick-up and collection service, operating within an 8-mile radius of Burn.
Do you accept puppies at all in daycare?
Puppies are allowed after their second set of vaccinations. Dogs must also have kennel cough vaccination and be up to date with worming and flea treatments.
Does my dog rest during the day?
Yes. Rest is a key part of the routine, with scheduled nap times and chill-out spaces for dogs that need extra downtime.
Can my dog be fed at daycare?
Yes. We can feed your dog with food provided by you, or discuss suitable options with you.
Can I bring my dogs favourite toy to daycare?
We ask owners not to bring toys. Many dog disagreements are caused by possessiveness around toys or food, so this helps keep group play safe.
What if I am late collecting my dog?
Please try to collect by closing time. If delays happen, your dog will remain safe with us, but there may be an extra charge of £5 for every 15 minutes.
The facility can be booked privately for weekend dog birthday parties and group celebrations. Contact us or check social media for updates.
Yes. Our facility and team are fully insured.
Yes. The facility is licensed by Selby District Council, which is a legal requirement for dog day care establishments in the UK.
You can find us at Springfield, Common Lane, Burn, North Yorkshire, YO8 8LB.
All dogs are assessed to confirm suitability for open, cage-free day care with other dogs.
Does my dog have to be trained before being accepted into daycare?
No. Dogs do not need formal training before joining. Day care social groups help teach manners and improve everyday behaviour.
What happens if my dog does not get on with another dog in daycare?
We only accept socialised dogs to maintain a calm and happy group and reduce the chance of conflict.
We have partnered with Doopie Dog Training to offer puppy and dog training classes at Springfield.
Pay online at the time of booking.
To keep dogs relaxed, we operate a closed-door policy during day care hours. You can preview the facility in the gallery or on social media.
A full list of prices is available on our pricing page.
We do not provide treats or food unless agreed in advance with owners. If your dog has dietary needs, bring their food and we will feed it during day care.
